tween

Privacy Policy

Effective July 29, 2026

tween is a social app for basketball players: find courts, post from your runs, and connect with other hoopers. This policy explains what information tween collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. It's written to be read, not skimmed past.

What we collect

What we don't do

How your information is used

To run tween: showing your posts to other users, delivering messages, ranking the feed, displaying nearby courts, keeping your account working across devices, and keeping the community safe (for example, processing reports and blocks).

Where it lives

tween's data is stored with Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage). Maps and court naming use Google Maps Platform. Sign-in is provided by Google and Apple. Each of these providers processes only what's needed to provide their service.

Safety and moderation

Anyone can report a post, comment, user, review, or conversation from inside the app, and block any user. Reports go to the tween team for review, and accounts that post objectionable content or abuse others can have content removed or be banned.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account any time in the app: Settings → Delete account. That permanently removes your profile, posts, media, comments, votes, follows, reviews, and messages. You can also email us at the address below and we'll do it for you.

Age

tween is for people 13 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13; if you believe a child under 13 is using tween, contact us and we'll remove the account.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we'll note it here with a new effective date.
